GIELLEBI,estabilished 25 years ago, is a company situated in Inverigo near Como which produces sofas and beds.During the early years, GIELLEBI learnt the techniques of working with both wood and textiles and started-up as a small industry with a working staff of only 3 whereas today the company is proud to have a staff force of 55 employees of wich a large percentage is dedicated to actual production.Over the years GIELLEBI has focused particular attention and specialization towards the achievement of contract-work for multi-chain hotels and shipping lines, involving all the relevant validations for this specific market such as Rina certification for naval purposes and fire-risk class 1/m granted by the State-Office for supplies destined to hotels and comunity residences. Those products destined for private home-use are internally projected and designed by Giellebi whereas those for hotels and naval purposes are projected externally by arcvhitectual specialists. GIELLEBI has a joinery department with high technologic carpentry machinery and equipment which permits the company to satisfy the canstant demands and particular requisites from its clientele. For the upholstery the constant demands and particular requisities from its clientele. For the upholstery and fabrics, GIELLEBI's standard range of production is perfomed with high speed precision machinery wheeas for non-standard products we still rely on the manuality of hand -cutting by specialized craftsmen. As of today, GIELLEBI is most probably the only company in Italy to have obtained the overall validation (homologation) for its sofa-beds (matress, rubber, textile ).During the initial years GIELLEBI has been extremely conscious about environment and ecology particularly during the stages of development, making emphasis towards bio-architecture with the introduction of beds having a solid wooden structure ,no aplication of glues, adhesives nor colouring agents; only the application of linseed oil dyes and mortise fitting.Nowadays GIELLEBI has a network of approx 1500 customers situated in Italy FRance and Switzerland. Our main aim is to offer the best possible service and support to our clientele;hence a company in continuous evolution, pursuing the market trends and being able to completely satisfy all requirements which may arise.
